PROJECTS/ REPORTS:

·         Comparative Analysis of Fixed and Mobile WiMAX

Abstract: WiMAX Technology is functioning since 2004. The Fixed WiMAX IEEE Standard 802.16d was released in July 2004, whereas the Mobile WiMAX IEEE Standard 802.16e was released in 2005. However, the problems associated with the Fixed WiMAX and Mobile WiMAX highlighted many challenges for mobile equipment suppliers as well as telecommunication operators. The rapid updates and progresses of 802.16 series are attracting more and more attention to avoid any controversy among the mobile and telecommunication operators all over the world. The aim of this research paper is to explore the best possible standards supporting various existing and the upcoming WiMAX standards. The comparative study shows that the proper strategy of the fixed and Mobile WiMAX can be adopted by analyzing the cooperative relationships between Fixed WiMAX, and Mobile WiMAX with the various parameters such as technical standards, current status and future trends.

·         RF Optimization of GSM Network

Abstract: GSM network consist of different cells and each cell transmit signals to and receive signals from the mobile station, for proper working of base station many parameters are defined before functioning the base station such as the coverage area of a cell depends on different factors including the transmitting power of the base station, obstructing buildings in cells, height of the base station and location of base station etc. The Drive Test (DT) perform in RF optimization GSM network to assure the availability, integrity, & reliability of the network.
